Introduction of the reporter:
Professor Xiaolin Wang received his B.Sc and M.Sc from Shandong University and PhD from the University of Wollongong in Australia. Prof. Wang is a physist and also a materials scientist and he is the prestigious Australian Research Council Queen Elizabeth II Fellow. He is the group leader of Spintronic and electronic materials team at the Institute for Superconducting and Electronic Materials, Faculty of Engineering, University of Wollongong . His research interests cover a wide range of topics, ranging from Superconductors, magnetic materials, spintronic, multiferroic functional materials, energy materials, nanomatrrials, thin film and single crystals, theoretical understanding of physical properties to the design of new class of materials. He has published more than 200 papers and many of them published in high impact journals such as Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Applied Physics Letters, etc. His papers have attracted more than 2000 citations. Prof. Wang is also the Chair and Co-chair of many international conferences and referees of government funding applications and reviewer of many famous international journals.
