This group emphasizes on innovation and unification of industry applications, teaching and research. It devotes to "research with innovation, and research for application”. The group continuously expands its research area to take the latest national engineering challenges. The main research activities in this group include: new technologies of rapid heating cycle injection molding; simulation and investigation of key technologies in plastic forming; key technologies of large cross-section hollow aluminum profiles extrusion for railway transit frames; rapid product/mold design and manufacturing technologies; advanced rolling and sheet metal forming technologies.
