This group has three main research areas: simulation & intelligent control of welding process, joining & repairing techniques for welding process of brittle materials, advanced joining process and technology. Curently, the main projects, supported by the Key Program of NSFC, the National High-Tech R&D Program, the National Key Technologies R&D program, and so on,, are beiing conducted in this group. The English book “Welding Thermal Processes and Weld Pool Behaviors” was published by CRC Press in 2010.
