边秀房 --实验室主任 教授 博导

个人简介:
边秀房,男,生于1953年,汉族,山东省沾化县人。1976年毕业于山东工学院。1983年获硕士学位。2001年获博士学位。现任山东大学教授;博士生导师;教育部重点实验室主任。创建了液态金属及遗传工程实验室,并任该室主任。该室于2000年8月17日列为教育部重点实验室,并改名为材料液态结构及其遗传性实验室。1993年至1994年赴澳大利亚墨尔本大学机械制造工程系,作为客座教授进行合作科研工作。1992年由讲师破格晋升为教授。1993年由国务院学位委员会批准为博士生导师。同年获得山东省新长征突击手,山东省专业技术拔尖人才,山东省十大杰出青年等荣誉称号,并享受国务院政府特殊津贴。1995年被评为山东省高校十大优秀教师,全国优秀教师。1997年被评为有突出贡献的中青年专家。国家百千万人材工程第一二层次人选。

研究领域:
主要从事液态金属结构及其遗传性研究、非晶材料、铝合金的熔炼和净化、金属的凝固与结晶、新材料的开发及研制工作。先后主持承担国家和省级科研课题20项,在国际学术杂志及国内学术刊物上发表论文200余篇。发明的 " 铝合金除渣除气剂 " 不仅在除渣除气性方面效果好, 优于日本同类产品 , 而且提出了 " 以渣带气 " 的新理论 . 自 1989 年通过鉴定并作为商品投产以来,至今已有200多家工厂长期使用,获得了显著的经济效益和社会效益,该项成果于1991年获国家发明四等奖。发现Al-Fe合金熔体中程有序结构,并提出了相应的结构演化理论。提出了金属过热熔体脆性新概念, 发现铝合金过热熔体脆性与非晶形成能力的关系。 在金属的液体结构及遗传性研究方面完成专著《铸造金属遗传学》、《金属熔体结构》各一部, 利用金属的遗传性开发的AlTiB中间合金大量出口国内外, 该项目获山东省科技成果一等奖。利用金属的遗传性开发的铁相球化剂深受铝合金生产厂家的欢迎,并获国家发明四等奖。
自 1993 年由国务院学位批准为博士生导师以来,指导博士生 20 人,已毕业 12 人,其中 2 人已破格晋升为教授并成为博导。
